CHINA SOUTHERN ANNOUNCES NEW SERVICES IN EUROPE

China Southern is expanding this summer with a new route to Vienna and potentially new flights to Italy. China Southern is the largest airline in Asia with over 138 million passengers last year while operating a fleet of 820 aircraft.
Looking to further expand in Europe, particularly from its main hub in Guangzhou in Southern China, the carrier con rmed the launching of a three-time weekly service linking Guangzhou to Vienna with a stop- over in Urumqi. The new service was set to begin on June 18, 2019 using the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. After the operation of Guangzhou- Urumqi- Vienna service, China Southern Airlines network will cover nine destinations in Europe. The others are Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Istanbul, London, Moscow, Paris, Rome and Saint Petersburg.
