CREATING AND BOLSTERING A SOLID BASE FOR FRANCE’S TOURISM INDUSTRY

This rebound is not due to chance or luck. While the destination itself offers a multitude of strengths, the strategic choices of the nation’s Destination Marketing Organisation – Atout France – and the fIrm political commitment of the French government at the highest level are very much at the heart of this success.

Multiple actions undertaken by Atout France either in France itself or via its offices around the world towards industry professionals have, over the past years, helped build a base that’s solid enough to allow the destination to cross this zone of turbulence without too many difficulties.

We are particularly proud to have worked with Atout France on this SMARTguide for the attention of tourism professionals – in order to highlight two great tools, the Poles of excellence, and destination contracts, put in place by the French government, and which will enable all professionals to encourage their customers to visit France and explain (even more easily): Why France?
