Naumi Hotels, part of the Singapore / Hong Kong based Hind group, are set to expand in the coming years throughout the southeast Asian region.

Laveena Mahtani, Regional Marketing Manager in Singapore told us that after opening its second hotel – Naumi Liora, in November 2012, the group will be expanding its portfolio with a new property in Auckland scheduled for early second quarter, and more are to come.

Today, Hind Group’s main division is run by two brothers. Surya Jhunjhnuwala runs the corporate office in Singapore, and Girish Jhunjhnuwala runs the corporate office in Hong Kong.

In 2002, Hind Group opened its first flagship property, a serviced apartment in the heart of Hong Kong’s Central business district. This portfolio has now expanded to include an award-winning collection of all-inclusive boutique hotels across six locations in the SAR, as well as three properties in Australia. In 2014, the group opened its flagship property, Ovolo Southside in Hong Kong Island’s Wong Chuk Hang district. Further Ovolo Hotel expansion plans are in process across Australia and other global markets.

Hind Group has also undertaken a number of property developments primarily in Singapore such as Residences at 338a, as well as the Domain in Brisbane, Australia. In 2007, the Group launched its first luxury hotel, Naumi in Singapore, garnering numerous accolades from the Singapore Government and making international “Hot Hotel” lists.
